- Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TUOGA (“TUOGA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit www.tuoga.com, place an order, create an account, contact us, or otherwise use our services (the “Services”).
1. Who is responsible for your information
TUOGA is the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@tuoga.com. Our mailing address is 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact data, including name, email, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and account details.
- Order and transaction data, including products, amounts, delivery, tracking, returns, refunds, and support history.
- Payment-related data. Payment providers process card or wallet credentials. TUOGA may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, billing information, and limited payment-method details. We do not ask customers to send full card numbers by email or message.
- Technical and usage data, including IP address, browser, device identifiers, pages viewed, approximate location, cookie choices, and security or fraud signals.
- Communications and content you provide, including questions, reviews, survey responses, photographs, videos, and product-safety reports.
- Marketing preferences and interaction data where marketing is permitted.
3. How and why we use information
- To process payment, prepare and quality-check orders, arrange cross-border shipment, provide tracking, and manage returns or refunds.
- To operate accounts, wishlists, customer support, and service communications.
- To secure the Services, prevent fraud, investigate misuse, and protect customers and TUOGA.
- To measure and improve website, product, fulfillment, and support performance.
- To send marketing with the consent or other legal basis required in your location, and to honor opt-outs.
- To comply with law, keep required tax and transaction records, enforce agreements, and establish or defend legal claims.
4. GDPR and UK GDPR legal bases
Where EEA or UK data-protection law applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract (for orders and requested services); compliance with legal obligations; legitimate interests (such as securing and improving the Services, preventing fraud, and managing the business) where those interests are not overridden by your rights; consent where required for marketing or non-essential cookies; and protection of vital interests in exceptional circumstances. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. When we disclose information
We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary sense. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to service providers that support hosting, ecommerce, secure payment processing, fraud prevention, order preparation, quality control, international shipping, tracking, customer support, email, analytics, advertising where permitted, professional advice, and security. These providers may use information only under their own legal obligations and applicable agreements. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a lawful business transaction.
Some advertising or analytics activity may be defined as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain U.S. state laws even when no money changes hands. Where applicable, TUOGA will provide the required notice and opt-out method and honor valid browser-based preference signals when legally required.
6. Cookies and marketing choices
Essential technologies support security, cart, checkout, login, and privacy choices. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are used only as allowed by law and your choices. Use the Cookie Settings link to manage preferences. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method; operational order messages will still be sent when needed.
7. International transfers
TUOGA is based in the United States, and products may be fulfilled through service providers in Asia or other regions. Personal information needed for payment, fraud prevention, fulfillment, customs, delivery, and support may therefore be processed outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as adequacy decisions or approved contractual clauses.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including fulfillment, support, fraud prevention, tax and accounting, dispute resolution, legal compliance, and enforcement. Retention varies by record type and legal requirement. We then delete, anonymize, or securely isolate information where appropriate.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including secure connections and access controls appropriate to the Services. No online system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Keep account credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
10. Your rights
Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about processing; object to certain processing; withdraw consent; opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling; and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Submit a request by emailing support@tuoga.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line or by calling +1 (781) 728-5888. We may verify identity and authority before responding. Authorized agents may need to provide proof of authorization.
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Higher consent ages may apply in some locations. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can review and take appropriate action.
12. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in practices, technology, or law. We will post the revised version and effective date and provide additional notice where required.
